She has been working in the field of early childhood education for over 10 years, with roles as director, classroom teacher, and family advocate. Amanda McNulty is the lead teacher in the Bear Cubs classroom (toddlers) at PTP. She has a Bachelors Degree in Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She has been in the field of education for over 8 years with roles teaching several different age groups. Alison Todd is the lead teacher in the Polar Bears classroom(pre-kindergarten) at PTP. She has an AAS Degree in Early Childhood Education from Rasmussen College. She has been working with young children for over six years, and she has enjoyed all the different classrooms she's been a part of. Hannah Johnson is the lead teacher in the Care Bears classroom (infant room). Hannah attended both the University of Minnesota and Carleton College. Hannah has experience as a lead teacher in licensed child care settings, as well as several years experience as a nanny. Hannah's son is in the Panda Bear preschool room at PTP. Hannah enjoys theater, music, reading, knitting, and crafts. Hannah lives in Mendota Heights with her husband and son.
Cassy Petersen is a teacher in the Bear Cubs classroom (toddler room) at PTP. She has her BA Degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She has worked in licensed childcare settings with all ages of children. Cassy lives in Inver Grove Heights and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Stephanie Jiskra is a teacher in our Grizzly Bear classroom at PTP. Stephanie has her BA degree from Metro State University with an individualized major in Empowering Young Children. Stephanie has worked in both licensed childcare settings and school-age settings. She helped teach sign language lesssons to deaf students at the MN Academy of the Deaf, and she was a member of the St. Thomas Symphonic Band. Stephanie lives in St. Paul, and she enjoys reading and scrapbooking.
Nicol Hamilton is a certified food manager at PTP, and she also assists in our classrooms daily. Nicol attended Brown College, and she has worked with children in various roles for over six years. She lives in St. Paul, and she likes to spend time with her friends and family.
Lea Rydel is a teacher in our Bear Cubs classroom (toddlers) at PTP. She completed a teaching certificate program through Rasmussen College. Lea has been working with children for over four years. Lea has twin boys who are in infant room at PTP. Lea lives in Inver Grove Heights with her family.
Susie Flannagan is the lead teacher in the Panda Bears classroom (young preschool) at PTP. She has her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of St. Thomas, and she is currently completing her Masters Degree in Education. Susie has been working with young children for several years, and her son is in the Grizzly Bear classroom at PTP. She lives in Inver Grove Heights, within walking distance from the center. Sara Keppers is a teacher in the Panda Bears classroom at PTP. She attended Rasmussen College to pursue her studies in Early Childhood Education. Sara has worked in a variety of childcare settings for over six years. She has two children that attend PTP. She lives in South St. Paul with her family.
Caryn Schmidt is the closing teacher for our Care Bears classroom (infants) at PTP, working with all of the various age groups. She has her Bachelors Degree from Concordia University, St. Paul, and has a variety of experience working with young children and families in licensed childcare settings. Caryn lives in Hastings, and is currently continuing her education in the medical field.
Matt Malmberg is a teacher in the Polar Bear classroom at PTP. He has a BA Degree in Geography and Education Studies from Macalester College. Matt has worked in licensed child care settings, as well as school-age programs. Matt is an assistant coach for the Macalester College football team.
Laura Hobert is a teacher in our Bear Cubs classroom at PTP. She has her BA Degree from Winona State University in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Laura has experience in licensed child care settings, school-age programs, and served as a nanny for two young children.
Eunice Neubauer is a teacher in the Care Bears classroom at PTP. She has her BA Degree from Valparaiso University. She has a variety of experience with non-profit childcare programs and has three children of her own. Eunice lives with her family in Inver Grove Heights.
Sam Wueste is a teacher
in our Panda Bears classroom. She has an Associates Degree from Inver Hills Community College. Sam is attending Concordia University in St. Paul this fall, pursuing her BA Degree in Early Childhood Education/ Child Development. She has been working with children for over five years in a variety of programs. She lives in the campus apartments at Concordia, but her home is in Inver Grove Heights. She enjoys gymnastics and spending time with her family and friends. Sam is the current Miss Inver Grove Heights 2008, and she loves being involved in her community!
Ryan Heyer is a substitute teacher at PTP. He has an Associates Degree from Inver Hills Community College. He plans to get his Bachelors Degree in Education from St. Cloud University. Ryan has been working with young children for three years. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing baseball.
Liz Oldfield is a teacher in the Panda Bears classroom (young preschool) at PTP. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a MN teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education. She taught kindergarten for over 30 years, and is well loved by countless children. Liz lives in South St. Paul with her husband, and she likes to read, knit, and be with people.
Nicole Pavlich is the lead teacher in the Grizzly Bears classroom (middle preschool). She has her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin. She has over seven years of experience working with young children in a variety of early childhood environments. She lives in Richfield and enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with family.
Chelsea VanDyck is a floating teacher at PTP, working in various classrooms as needed. Chelsea is a junior at Hamiline University where she is majoring in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology. Chelsea has worked in licensed childcare programs, worked with youth summer camp programs, and taught youth dance classes. Chelsea lives in IGH, and she is on the University Dance Team.
Addie Dorman is an aide in the Bear Cubs classroom at PTP. She assists in various classrooms. Addie will be attending college to pursue her education in Child Development and/or Criminal Justice. Addie has a son in the Panda Bears room at PTP. Addie lives in South St. Paul with her son.
Michaela Geffre is a teacher in the Polar Bears classroom at PTP. Michaela is currently attending Rasmussin College and has a son in the infant room at PTP. She lives in Inver Grove Heights with her family.
